The eCommerce/Web Administration program prepares individuals for positions in Internet-based business. The program blends the contents of three instructional departments: marketing, computer information systems and visual communications. You may choose to emphasize the marketing and design aspects of ecommerce, the format of web pages, or focus on the infrastructure supporting Internet design and marketing.

Electronic commerce is the fastest growing segment of the economy, and it is predicted that "virtual transactions" will quadruple in three years. Graduates should understand business models underlying electronic commerce, be able to create ebusiness marketing strategies, design a web page, and have proficiency in the programming languages used for web page creation. Core skills include an interest in virtual economy and technology, and a willingness to accept change. Above-average computer skills and familiarity with Internet communications are highly recommended. All courses are delivered online.
